In our new episode, Decentralize.TV interviews Alex Romanov with the BEAM project (Beam.mw) which combines the MimbleWimble blockchain innovation with offline addressing via Lelantus (zero knowledge proofs) to offer a hybrid, private cryptocurrency ecosystem.

This system also support private smart contracts as well as the creation of “private virtual assets” (i.e. new tokens) on top of the Beam infrastructure, which harnesses the power of Beam nodes, miners, wallets, and more.
