WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange appeared in court yesterday over extradition proceedings brought against him by the United States government. You can read our report here.

Assange is being framed-up under the Espionage Act over WikiLeaks’ courageous exposure of US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. He faces 175 years in an American federal prison.

In little more than one month, the full extradition hearing for Assange is set to resume in London. The WSWS will cover the hearing and will continue its efforts to alert and mobilise mass opposition in the working class to this immense political crime.

Please share our coverage widely and help build the campaign to win Assange’s freedom.

Many thanks,
